A place for every piece.

Jewelry boxes, trays and a travel case, every one of them lined in soft rose velvet.

How it fits together

COCKLE
Start with COCKLE, a small box for the rings and earrings you wear most.
CONCH
Move up to CONCH when the collection outgrows it: two tiers, with rolls for rings and a hook for each chain.
SCALLOP
Add SCALLOP to a drawer you already have.
WHELK
Pack WHELK for trips. It zips flat.
COWRIE
Keep COWRIE by the bed or the sink for the rings you take off.
TELLIN
Wipe each piece with TELLIN before it goes away.
THE TIDELINE
Or take THE TIDELINE and have the whole set.

The lining

Open any piece and you'll find the same thing: rose velvet in every slot, roll and tray. Every box, dish and case is finished in deep pewter grey on the outside, so the colour is the first thing you see when the lid comes up.

Why Silver Edge? It's named for the moment the lid comes up: the pieces you love, set against the edge of the velvet.

What we don't make

No jewelry. We make the places it lives.
Nothing in leather or imitation leather.
No locks or safes.
No polishes or treated cloths.
Nothing for children.

Questions

Do you sell jewelry?

No. Silver Edge makes jewelry storage only.

Will it stop my jewelry tarnishing?

We don't promise that. The velvet isn't treated with anything, so it won't stop tarnish on its own.

Does WHELK fit in a suitcase?

It zips flat, so it packs between folded clothes.

Do any of the boxes lock?

No. Keep anything that needs locking somewhere that does.

How do I look after the velvet?

Brush it lightly with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water.
